Celebrating 10 Years!
Can you believe it? It’s been 10 years since we started Magpie Games! We’ve come a long way—starting as a side-hustle run by co-founders Marissa Kelly and Mark Diaz Truman all the way to working with ten employees across four different countries! We’ve pioneered Shakespearean indie roleplaying...and now we’re creating an officially licensed RPG set in the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. We couldn’t have lasted this long without your support...so thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
We would normally celebrate such a momentous occasion at a convention, but...we’re all still socially distancing for a few more months. In the meantime, we’re excited to announce a bunch of fun 10th anniversary events, sales, and games!
10th Anniversary Flash Sale
To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we’re having a flash sale! Everything in the webstore will be on sale, and yes, we do mean EVERYTHING, including classic titles, Wizard Kittens, and more. For a limited time only, Urban Shadows (1st edition) and Dark Streets will be available in the webstore for 70% off! This is your last chance to grab these classics before they’re out of stock forever!

Wizard Kittens and Sovranti partner up to save real-life cats
In addition to our awesome flash sale, we’re also teaming up with Sovranti to raise awareness and funds for wildcats!
Sovranti is a free app for PC, Mac, and mobile that lets you play board games with anyone, anywhere! Throughout April, Wizard Kittens will be on Sovranti’s “Silver” rotation of free games anyone can play without a subscription.
For everyone who plays Wizard Kittens on Sovranti, a donation will be made to The Wildcat Sanctuary in Sandstone, MN. We’re also donating 10% of the proceeds from Wizard Kittens sales on our store during the anniversary sale. Plus, any purchase of Wizard Kittens in the store gets you an extra month to play it on Sovranti. Summon your friends, play games, and help save these cats!

If the weekend isn’t packed enough between the sale and the fundraiser, we’re also running community games through our Discord from April 15th-18th. There will be a handful of our dedicated Community Gms running all of our games. We would be thrilled to have you join one.. Or all of our games, the more the merrier!
