Curated Play September Drawing
Summer’s coming to an end but we want to help you ring in the Fall.
We’re ecstatic to announce our Urban Shadows: 2nd Edition Test Play campaign! Mark Diaz Truman, our CEO and one of the co-creators of Urban Shadows will be leading four lucky players through a three-session arc at the end of September into October. You’ll be among the first people to test out the new and updated systems — who do you know, and who do you owe? Are your new powers worth their bloody price?
So, how can you get in on the action?
We launched our Curated Play program back in March, and it’s been a blast so far to play with all of you (get to know a couple of our world-class GMs, Bee Zelda and Simon Moody)! To add a bit more fun and mystery to your experience, everyone who buys a ticket to any one of our Curated Play sessions from September 1st to 15th will be entered into a draw for one of the coveted spots in the Urban Shadows: 2nd Edition Test Play. Every ticket you purchase gets you another entry, and campaign tickets are worth two! Or if your feeling generous and want to give your ticket away to another player you can do that too!
The three sessions will run on Sundays September 27th, October 4th, and October 11th from 3:00 to 6:30 EST. We’ll choose winners by September 16th and notify them via email. Like in our last contest, canceled Curated Play tickets will be disqualified.
Urban Shadows is one of our earliest games, and we’re thrilled for players to jump back into the gritty supernatural politics of our urban fantasy environment. The 2nd Edition will feature:
- A revised basic moves list
- New and revised playbooks
- New long-term play mechanics
- And all-new, full-color art and layout
