Happy Holidays from all of us at Magpie Games!
It’s been a long year, but we’re almost through it and there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. We’re looking forward to spending these last few days of December cuddling up with a hot drink and our favorite furry friends.
Meet our extended Magpie Games family:
Ophelia
For the record, Ophelia (Phia, for short) was named long before Sam met the Magpies and the other Ophelia. She stays true to her namesake by wailing and periodically falling in the toilet. When not occupied with her tragic Shakespearean roots, she keeps herself busy chirping at birds, demanding to be pet in the middle of the night, and plotting elaborate human food heist attempts.
Baelish
Baelish is equal parts annoying and endearing. He's been the somewhat stalwart companion of Magpie's Director of Operations, Derrick Kapchinsky, for nearly nine years. In that time, he has grown to love chin scratches, napping in boxes, napping on boxes, and laying on top of anything Derrick might need quickly.
Ophelia Bodelia
Ophelia Bodelia is excited to wish all of her fans a wonderful holiday season. After helping so much with the Wizard Kittens Kickstarter campaign, Ophelia feels her legacy is secure. She will, of course, model for future Magpie Games products if the public demands it...
Odo and CJ
Odo is on the left. He has the personality of a surly teenager who just wants to be left alone, except when he’s at home and in private and then he’s all cuddles with mom. CJ is on the right. She is part noodle and a rare mutant whose tail actually does wag the dog.They are both very good pups and are not to be blamed for any crimes or misdemeanors they allegedly committed.
Riley
Riley is a long-legged, sassy queen that loves attention, cuddles, and treats. She is an avid treadmill runner and ball chaser. When she is not cleaning the crumbs off the floor, she enjoys looking out the window barking at anything that moves!
This year has been wild, and we couldn’t have gotten through it without you. Personally, we’ve taken a dive into digital games conventions and run our most successful Magpie-only Kickstarter campaign yet. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
